The joys of have an oil President and oil Vice President. Remember the promises that the flow of Iraqi oil would both pay for the rebuilding of Iraq and lower oil prices worldwide. Does seem to be at least coincidental that the people who have been gaining the most from 9/11 and the "War on Terror" are the Bushes, the Cheney's and their Texas oil friends; the Saudi royal family; and the other oil families of the Middle East, such as the Bin Laden family? The price of oil is at all-time highs, and of the none of the hundred thousand or so people who have died have been Bushes, Cheneys, Sauds, or Bin Ladens. This is not to suggest conspiracy, but that different people apparently live in alternate universes, where 9/11, the "War on Terror", and high oil prices represent blessings and not catastrophes, disasters and hardship.

I only signed up so that I could post comment to other blogs and be identified. I take responsibility for my opinions, and do not believe in posting anonymously. In this time of deceit, duplicity and chicanery, I feel that it is important that we hold onto a few old fashioned values like honesty, honor, and integrity, among others. If our leaders are not capable of making straight-forward, declarative statements, then we, the citizens of the world must do it for them.
Having said all that, I may or may not post to this blog in the future.
